OUR MISSION
Providing access to basic healthcare and education for children in Haiti and helpful guidance to Haitian migrants.

My name is Sabtha Martyr Milrose, manager of the "Santé et Bonheur pour Tous" health clinic in Haiti. Since 2023, POVEDEPOV has provided invaluable charity support to our clinic in Haiti, particularly for children who lack the means to see a doctor, fill medical prescriptions, or access emergency services. We are deeply grateful for the community support you give, as it plays a crucial role in The Poor Helping The Poor. Thank you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 for the way you support the clinic in saving the lives of so many Haitians who are suffering to get care.

I am Emmanuel Lamare, and I live in Haiti. Today, I take great pleasure in sharing how blessed I feel since I had the chance to benefit from the charity support of an organization called PÒV EDE PÒV.
PÒV EDE PÒV is not like any other organization; it is a beacon of hope for young people like me who struggle every day to improve our lives. This community support has been invaluable, and I am grateful for your vision, love, and generosity. I hope this organization continues to grow so that it can keep touching more lives, just as it did for me, in the spirit of The Poor Helping The Poor. I say thank you with all my heart. GOD BLESS YOU!

I am Claudine Castor St. Louis, a young educator and one of the leaders of POVEDEPOV in Haiti. Our mission focuses on charity support, helping the poorest people gain access to a good education while promoting respect for children’s rights — including the right to education, the right to health, the right to protection, and the right to have a family. Together, we believe in the philosophy of The Poor Helping The Poor, fostering community support to uplift those in need. Thank you.

Thanks to the efforts of our Education representative in Haiti, Mrs. Saint Louis, those children will once again benefit from a significantly reduced school tuition rate this year. However, Mrs. Saint Louis is not able to raise the money. Your generosity will once more come to the rescue. Please click below to donate.

“Povedepov” means the Poor helping the Poor. Though even some of our donors dislike the name, it reflects our deep respect for those we serve. As we say in Haiti, the earth is round and it turns ... today’s rich may be tomorrow’s poor, and vice versa.
"Cast your bread upon the waters, for after many days you will find it again". (Ecclesiastes 11:1) We thank our donors and encourage them to invite others to explore our website.
